Xenos
If the NFL was smart, they should not only be planning for contingencies this year but also next year as well. See about the possibility of doing a bubble next season just in case. Don't just sit on your hands like this year and hope it goes away by the time the season starts.

This is something that def needs to be discussed more in depth because while we don't know yet how long this is going to last, I think we all know for sure that when this is all over with our normalcy will not be the same as it was prior to the pandemic. At least not for a long-time, anyways, if ever. In the NFL defense here, they have seemingly been making decisions based on how each month goes and I honestly can't blame them for that because this is all uncharted territory. So for them to have a plan in mind on how to handle possible issues 12 months from now is not necessarily realistic either. That said, they do seem to have future contingencies in mind with how NFL team HQ's and stadiums are being revamped to handle these types of situations in the future. This is the Bears Halas Hall for example. Watch the video below and you will see some of high-tech upgrades that they have made to building in order to combat C19. https://www.chicagobears.com/news/bears-confident-in-their-covid-19-safety-plan
