It "forces our hand" Realistically though, we'll likely need a QB in a round 1. We can't do year-4 of Watson. NateDawg Posted September 9 Share Posted September 9 Unfortunately, right now I could see us being in that range. Our defense is good enough that we are probably going to win six or more games. We are effectively going to be out of Ewers territory in that case. Top couple guys gone, Browns panic and move up to #10 and take Sanders. Our best hope is that we are so turned off with what we are dealing with now that we try to go a very different direction at the position. After Baker’s occasional shenanigans and drama followed by Watson I can’t imagine everyone in the building NOT wanting boring at the position. Going back to Johnny football, we really know how to choose them. I’m not a draft expert but Ewers/Beck seem to be the 1/2 from early prognosticators. Of course there are those that also have Shedeur as QB1. Hopefully some other owner can pound the table for that kid.
