Gotta be honest I expected us to beat HOU but it's not actually that hard to see why we lose games like this.

D

- No pass rush

- No linebacker competency whatsoever

- For some reason the secondary has lost its bite

- So that's issues on all 3 levels

O

- Cam isn't great at reading what's coming

- Receivers are turd, they really are. I'm not buying this blind hope for Meyers one bit.

- ZERO Tight End help whatsoever. The worst TE situation in the league, and one of the worst statistically the NFL has seen in over 5 years

Bonus: today, for some reason, the OL decided not to show up for large chunks. That's the only good thing we had....

Congrats HOU fans. All the best for the future!

I not sure on this one, its hard to evaluate when they give Watson 3 hrs in and out of the pocket. Also you forgot defensive game plan, awful.

Oh yeah the plan was the worst. Their o line was undermanned, we supposedly have a good secondary and we refused to blitz. Not sure about that one.

BB must have thought the way to beat Watson is to resource the backfield - keep enough bodies in the secondary.

He was wrong, I guess.

It's almost like the defensive part of the Bucs meltdown versus NOLA but at least we didn't fixate in zone too. They just refused to change it up.

Does anyone else feel like BB is just using this year to experiment or something? Like passing it all off to his son so he can get a feel of game-to-game play calling?  He doesn't seem at all bothered by any of this. I know he's pretty placid at the best of times, but I recall seeing him getting heated when our D was bad in 2017/18. Seems so nonchalant to me.

I mean it makes sense. Team decimated by COVID, first year post-Brady. If you're going to do it, now is THE time.

They were lights out last season though. Same personnel. Pass rush was better, but it still wasn't anything special. We locked ish up!

We may still be out of reach for him...need to lose out

McDaniels needs to go.

People defend Cam and say he has nothing to work with but some how McDaniels should make it work. The problem is the Patriots are basically a one trick pony and when that trick is stopped they struggle. Cam had a nice game passing but the Patriots are a running team. I think it was a bad game plan on both sides the ball.

Maybe next year.

Why did Damien Harris only have 11 carries today?

I agree as I said I thought the game plan was bad on both sides of the ball.

It's hard to even call that a game plan. It's like they tried to do one thing for one drive, and then got away from it the moment it looked like they weren't going to slow down Watson. And that's frustrating because they should've been trying to shorten the game as much as possible at that point.
