A solid GM/HC combo that has consistency in front office and coaching staff is a huge benefit to a winning organization, as well as the free agent pick ups they have been able to do to include to great results in drafting. The two must underrated players that I have enjoyed seeing on this team for all 4 years have been Poyer and Hyde, both were low level free agent acquisitions that I thought weren't going to be any thing special. Those 2 I think were the foundation and beginning to this amazing organization. We may lose a couple of players to free agency and we will pick up a few more but the core that is here has been very solid and is pointing in the right direction. When will you see a player turn down the opportunity to play in a championship game? When will you see a coach say we are keeping them out? I know the risk of health can be a concern but this is a sport and business so the health aspect will likely be pushed to the side in situations like this. When he was taking all the snaps yesterday there was no doubt in mind that he wasn't going to play because the coaching staff would be preparing Henne to get all the snaps in as much as he could in order to get ready and it was mahomes taking them all. Kmart128 Posted January 23, 2021 Share Posted January 23, 2021 (edited) I just know that any big hit to Mahomes is gonna draw a flag for roughing the passer... legal or not NFL is gonna do all they can to protect their star. So if we are gonna lay the wood we need to make sure he doesnt reenter the game again cause even if legal we will get a flag thrown on us.
