I mean it’s not a 1:1 comparison here since we’re talking an entire season of poor play vs 1 game, but Mahomes tonight was very reminiscent of Wentz all year is my point. Back pedaling and running when pressure is not there, hero ball, missing throws due to no rhythm, all brought on from a huge increase in actual pressure messing with his head. Not to mention WRs dropping balls also rings a bell.  Of course Mahomes is a different level talent and never made quite as bad throws tonight as Wentz routinely did, but the early pressure completely rattled him. Half those pressures tonight were him holding the ball too long and running backwards when there was a pocket to step into.
