There are ways to scheme against great coverage with pick routes and the like.  When it comes to a dominant pass rush though?  You can't scheme against that.  The only way to bolster against that, is to keep extra guys home to block...which means the defense has already won the battle, and there are fewer people out in routes to worry about.  Plus, the defensive front also has the advantage of being a menace to the run game as well.

 

You build up front first and foremost.  Fill the secondary in with good players where you can.  It's a secondary element, it's right in the darn name.

The correct answer is pass rush..

But you gotta get Bruce Smith in there. And as others said, Aaron Donald

There's no debating that the godly secondary would create coverage sacks, and that the godly pass rush would create lame duck picks

But overall, I think given enough time, a great QB will be able to put up more points on the great secondary as opposed to being able to do things with zero time and constant pressure all game
