I feel as if he’s a big volume guy, so getting in on the bottom half of the top 10 of YFS doesn’t mean as much if he’s in the top 5 in touches, y’know? 4th in rushing attempts and 5th in rushing yards since he came into the league. Averaging more ypc than guys like Mixon/Montgomery and on par with guys like Zeke/Fournette/Kamara.

We aren’t picking up his fifth year option. And very unlikely keep him past this year. If you want to revisit this thread next year to see who’s right, be my guest. Are Fournette, Mixon, Zeke, and Kamara trash as well?

His ypc was 4.0 last season playing behind arguably the worst run blocking line in the entire league.

It's also important to remember that half of the posters on here, led by @BayRaider were screaming that we needed to trade Carr immediately because we didn't sign anyone the first two days of free agency, lol. You’d have to think he’d naturally be in the top 5 unless he was completely ineffective, like Trent Richardson or something. 8 minutes ago, NYRaider said: Averaging more ypc than guys like Mixon/Montgomery and on par with guys like Zeke/Fournette/Kamara. Mixon and Kamara are more known for their abilities in the passing game, so ypc is a null tell (and Mixon plays begin arguably the worst OL in football). Montgomery is proving to be just a guy for the talent starved Bears, Zeke is absolutely falling off a cliff in terms of his production (Tony Pollard might legitimately overtake him as RB1) and Fournette has several years rushing in the bog that is Jacksonville - so not exactly the best points of comparisons. If you like Jacobs, I get it - but it seems as if he’s replaceable in a lot of ways.

Inexperienced is saying that he was a rugby player that just started playing football 5 years ago. No need to even argue about him though he won't be on the board when we're picking. Josh Jacobs outproduced Mixon as a receiver last season and has gotten better there every year. I don't love Jacobs I just don't see the need to trade him for a mid round pick when we have no one to replace him.

NYRaider
If there's one big piece who's going to be traded I'd bet that it's Darren Waller.
