Jackson has long favored such a project and considers the lakefront Cleveland’s front door, Rybka said. The planning group offered a way to explore that goal. Designs by a landscape architect hired by the Browns envision the open land that surrounds the stadium be developed as greenspace, providing maximum public access to the area, while allowing for some housing and commercial development...”

FAA regulations for shutting down an airport is subjective. It requires real politicking. Cle can barely get Cbus to stop dicking them. Not sure what it can do in DC Plus I think (pure speculation) Cle has this eternal hope that they will need a 2nd airport for when the city becomes huge again

Haslam is going to contribute. They have been talking about developing that area for years but that was with 100% tax payer money, now it is said that the Haslams will contribute to it. How much? who knows. With them willing to do that, there is a stronger chance that this actually happens Edited May 20, 2021 by buno67
