2022 where we finally are rebuilt draft thread

Recommended Posts

Fanspeak just added the DraftTek big board:

3: R1 P3 WR Garrett Wilson - Ohio State

35: R2 P3 OT Dawand Jones - Ohio State

67: R3 P3 CB Coby Bryant - Cincinnati

78: R3 P14 G Thayer Munford - Ohio State

105: R4 P3 WR Justyn Ross - Clemson

145: R5 P3 EDGE Zachary Carter - Florida

182: R6 P3 RB Dameon Pierce - Florida

188: R6 P9 TE Greg Dulcich - UCLA

190: R6 P11 LB Chad Muma - Wyoming

197: R6 P18 CB Al Blades Jr. - Miami

222: R7 P3 QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson - UCLA

246: R7 P27 DL John Ridgeway - Arkansas

I don’t know if he will come out in the draft, but I would love to get Dawand Jones in the draft. He is 6’8” 380 and has nice quickness especially for his size. We could eventually move on from Jawaan or try Jawaan at RG.

My current ILB crush is Leo Chenal. If he is there in the 2nd, I would seriously consider him. He seems like the perfect 3-4 MLB.

The funnier thing is dawand Jones is ranked player 1001 on the pfn board.

Seems like a lot of the juniors and redshirt sophomores get pushed down their boards.  Probably because they aren’t sure if those players will come or not and don’t want to wreck their boards. If Dawand Jones comes out he will be a 1st or 2nd round pick.

that's really low for Dawand Jones. it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up sneaking into Round 1. a lot of these mock draft website's big boards are pretty wild and varied right now though.

Most of the sim boards got Jones that low if not lower.  And it's not cause they lack film of him when they have ojabo as a round 2 guy who literally had almost 0 film prior to this year.

Even if he's not there replace him with the best available OT.
