On the plus side the offense can score the football and they might have something if the OL can protect Kirk consistently and if the D gets their head of out of their behind.  Terrible defense really by what is supposed to be a defensive lead team by a defensive head coach.  That secondary has played pretty bad, will see if Dantzler can change things Breeland just gets beat to much the last two games, should put Dantzler in and hopefully Alexander can make more of an impact than he has been.

They have played a ton of two LBs but did not have the defensive backs to put in this last game with Boyd injured and Hand out.  Hopefully Hand can get into the fold as a slot corner and Dantzler can start opposite Peterson.

At least the offense is good and honestly they could easily be much better than they already have been.  Maybe Vikings become more like they were in the late 90s, an offensive first team and defense just try not to lose the game.

Richardson and Tomlinson have been kind of disappointing honestly, Richardson has done very little and Tomlinson is out there but needs to get off blocks more and make more of an impact.  Especially when he has Hunter on the edge destroying dudes.  Wonnum and Weatherly have both been getting decent pressure and hope that continues.

The offense was terrible on third downs and didn’t score a TD in the second half. So they have a ways to go. No doubt the defense has to get better but this is now an offensive team if you look at where the resources are being allocated to.

True they did not play perfect but fact is they honestly should have won both games, Cook was on his butt and did not fumble against the Bengals so that should have been a win and they should have made the kick yesterday and that should have been a win.  So two wins with poor defensive play and one game where the OL was terrible and had tons of penalties, not too bad and sure the offense was not perfect but they put the team in a chance to win both times with two potential game winning drives that were successful outside of the fumble and missed kick...

But yeah it sucks honestly that this is becoming an offensive team but it is an offensive league and almost no defense can stop anyone.  Even the Rams who should  have the best D in the league they gave up a lot of yards and points against the Colts.  Still Harrison Smith is not make a ton of plays out there which sucks, Peterson rarely even gets thrown on but so what if the unit in general fails because the 2nd or 3rd LB is out of position or the other corner or nickel CB give up plays and the DT cannot control the line.

Still they have to have some faith in winning but not sure where that comes from, put Tom Brady on this team and my guess is they would play completely different because then maybe they would have belief they could win just like the Bucs greatly improved with Brady on the team giving guys who would not think they could win belief they could.  Where that comes from for the Vikings, I have no idea.  Where is the crazy over confidence and bravado of the likes of John Randle, Randy Moss and Chris Carter...no where to be found on this roster honestly.
