Matts and Orca are aligned as Mafia, and Matts just said Orca and Rick are aligned so Rick will either die and clear Orca or defend him to death more than usual. And then they put votes on Orca and split off for misdirection while aware (1) Orca was in no real danger, and (2) if he was, they could fix it.
