Friendly reminder that people think there's no money to pay players.

Or a friendly reminder that "We're too broke to afford ink without charging students per-page" excuse is bs?

Players don't need to get paid. I think, more than anything, it shows messed up priorities at some schools.

Though, admittedly, how much of his contract will be booster-covered?

LSU did hire Ed Orgeron last year

What was insane about that coaching search, exactly? They had an agreement with Herman, he snaked out of it, they hired Orgeron. The end. He didn't ask about a bad hire, he asked about an insane coaching search.

Tennessee is in the best place it's been in in over a decade. No more idiotic Jimmy Haslam trying to hire mediocre head coaches.

Haven't been this happy about the state of our program in so long. Hate the mess it required to get it done, but it's finally done.

A man who purposefully sabotaged your head coaching search is now the athletic director.

Would be wise of you to stop listening to national media and actually listen to people connected to sources in the UT program.

National media is just reporting what Currie is feeding them.

I mean it's the same guy that stabbed Johnny Majors in the back and Clay Travis lol, same guy who Fulmer helped write a book about his tenure? Yep no bias there.

"Stabbed Johnny Majors in the back" is probably the most boring, overused story line ever. Fulmer took over for Majors, performed better than Majors, and said he was going to go be a head coach else where(because he could have gotten damn near any job he wanted to) if UT didn't keep him. So UT decided to go with Fulmer, and they made the right decision. Majors was a good coach, Fulmer was a great one. UT could have decided to keep Majors if they wanted to. Fulmer had every right in the world to do what he did.

I don't care what Travis wrote. Fact of the matter is he's ahead of any other media/reporting source on practically every major UT story there is. The guy has contacts and knows what he's talking about, he's proven it 1,000x over.

Fulmer is a snake, as is Clay Travis.

But if it's going to make you feel better about a train wreck by all means indulge yourself.
