Big 12 doesnt want it the last game of the year in case they play each other again in the championship game.

Or they could just, ya know, not have a championship game when you a play a g'damn 10 team round robin regular season schedule. The amount of paste that gets consumed in the Big 12 offices is astounding.

Just bite the freakin bullet and bring in Colorado State and Memphis. The conference needs that Fed Ex money, and Colorado State is building some impressive facilities, and it could help them hold onto Bobo as their coach, and he could build something there.

East:

Texas, TCU, West Virginia, Memphis, Kansas, Kansas State

West:

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Iowa State, Colorado State

If we've got a bullet to spare, I'd just assume pop that sucker in the temple of the entire conference.

Tbh, though the round robin format is actually pretty sweet. It disrupts the logistics of getting into the playoffs, but from just an entertainment/competivie standpoint, it's pretty bad ***. A championship game is nothing more than a short sighted money grab.
