And the last time a Lions QB not named Matthew Stafford won on Thanksgiving was Joey Harrington vs the Packers in 2003. Both facts can change today. I was with a group of friends who didn’t care for football but loved rock climbing in Joshua Tree NP. I brought a small portable radio in the hopes I could grab a signal for the Thanksgiving game. It was surreal scrambling up some rocks and finding a clear spot listening to the Packers in the desert. As I recall, the Det defense sacked and intercepted Favre all game long.
