That monolouge by Phoebe Cates on how she found out theres no such thing as Santa is one of the best film moments all time 2. Home Alone. Such great buildup to a perfect 3rd act of torture for our hapless villians 3. Bad Santa. Billy Bob nails it in this role as a jerk who you actually have some sympathy for. The movie is funny and has a lot of heart. Plus, Im crushing on Lorelai 4. Elf. Will Ferrell was born to play the titular role, and its a fun family movie and super rewatchable 5. Die Hard. absolutely is a Xmas movie. Kind of. Can be argued to be such. Not really. Who Cares. 6. Krampus. excellent sound design. 7.. Silent Night Deadly Night 2. Garbage Day??!! 8.. A Christmas Story. The Wonder Years of movies. Sadporn. Its wonderfully depressing in every way. 9. The Nightmare Before Christmas. Has really great songs. 10. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. The Santa Clause - idk why, but I love it, hate the kid, but I love it The Mighty Ducks Trilogy - has nothing to do with christmas besides maybe the weather, but I still watch them every year during the season Star Wars - idk if it's because the Force Awakens started the trend or if as a kid I watched them a lot during Christmas but I equate them to christmas movies Harry Potter - similar to Star Wars but they mostly all have Christmas scenes at least Iron Man 3 - I am a nerd Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - see Iron Man 3 Hawkeye - I AM LOVING THIS SHOW I AM COUNTING IT SCREW YOU Santa Clause is Coming to Town - put one foot in front of the other The Year Without Santa Clause - THE HEAT MISER Elf - an instant classic IMO, it's the millenial generation's defining christmas movie Jingle All the Way - It is so so so stupid Rise of the Guardians - Santa is a main character but it might not really be a christmas movie. HIGHLY underrated flick though The Night Before - It wasnt as good as I wanted it to be when I saw the trailer but I still love it for being an adult christmas centric flick A Bad Mom's Christmas - Dat cast Doe Snow Day - again, not really christmas just winter but I still love it and watch it every year Jim Carrey as The Grinch - the definitive version IMO A Merry Friggin Christmas - its uh... not good. Die Hard is one of the greatest action movies of all time, and Christmas is a big part of the plot. One was pretty great though. Also just watched A Boy Named Christmas and enjoyed it.
