#32 Posted December 13, 2021 Share Posted December 13, 2021 Stefanski needs to start acting like he is head coach not a play caller. Good leaders learn to delegate and train their replacement. Coach has to yield play calling to Van Pelt so he can coach up and manage offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and special teams. Yes, Stefanski has an offensive mind skill set but his play calling takes away time that he needs to manage the game and coaches. His stubbornness is starting to wear as he does not get it. His lack of adjustments in second halves is poor. His ideas of protecting a lead are archaic. The vanilla run schemes are too predictable as we have a great offensive line and running backs. He was sitting in his basement watching the game. Van Pelt, who should be doing the OC calling, put up 48 against the Steelers in the playoffs. And the original poster said nothing about firing.
