As a Bucs fan, I believe Leftwich is worthy to get a shot at HC. Has this potential relationship already reached the point of no return? I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays where he is and takes over for Darth Arians when he retires (which might be sooner than later esp if Tom’s retirement is legit). The thing that makes me nervous for Leftwich in that situation is that unless he has some assurances that he will at least likely be the one taking over for Arians when Bruce is done, I'm not sure that his star will ever be as bright as it is now.
