What we should do:

1 (NO) DE
1 DE
2 DT
3 OL
4 CB
5 P
6 KR specialist

I’d be down for RT/RG player worth taking at that later 1st or 2nd too. If we are paying Hurts, players like Isaac on vet deals become harder to have.

Good call though with. KR, would be nice if we could get a WR who could do it well. Quez probably walks after his rookie deal, so need to get more complimentary pieces

I dunno about that

Guy with tools stuck at 3rd on the depth chart, just typically the type of dude some team that has a boatload of cash signs thinking he can be a starter for them.
I'd love to have him back, but need to start considering what a Jalen Hurts contract will do to this team.
It'll match up fairly well with some retirements and page turns. As Kelce rides into the sunset, they move on from Fletch, BG retires or signs to a bit roleplayer deal.
So Quez could come back, just not positive.

Serious question, just those 3 players contracts of the books nets us what? Hurts contract if given one?

2nd year OC minimal contract in Cam

2nd DT contract in Davis

Rookie DE contract 2023 for BG

Curious

I’d have to do a larger breakdown. With Bradberry playing well and Slay still at a high level, we might just see them keep them both for 2/3 more years. So that’d eat into whatever surplus.

Lucky we don’t need to address Brown and Devonta’s contracts for a bit. Goedert and Mailata are done and affordable. If Miles continues to be fine, maybe he comes back on a ok 2 year deal…but otherwise they won’t bother paying him.

With our OL + Hurts/Robinson..... I would just say a prayer before games for the other teams run defense. Things would get nasty.

Bijan is also a great receiver too. This offseason the focus for him with coaches was pass protection, so he could come into the starting role here next year and automatically be a better pass protector than Sanders is now or at least as good.

My head says no to a RB in the 1st, but my heart says yes.
