What Super Bowls do you consider elite in terms of Legacy/How iconic they were

The first Super Bowl I can remember is Ravens/Giants, so I'll probably miss some.

But imo any good list should include:

  • Super Bowl 3 (Biggest upset ever, led to merger)
  • Super Bowl 25 (Norwood missed kick, start of the Bills 4 runs to the SB)
  • Super Bowl 32 (11-point upset, changes Elway's legacy, breaks a 13 year losing streak for the AFC)
  • Super Bowl 36 (14-point upset, ended on the final play, ended a potential dynasty and began the greatest dynasty of the Super Bowl era)
  • Super Bowl 38 (Great game, Janet Jackson happened)
  • Super Bowl 42 (Wild Card Giants beat undefeated Pats in a 12.5-point upset)
  • Super Bowl 49 (Malcolm Butler)
  • Super Bowl 51 (28-3)

1: Where it all started.

3: Biggest upset

7: Miami completes perfect season

10: Arguably the first thriller

23: Montana cements his status as Joe Cool.

25: Whitney Houston's rendition of America the Beautiful. The game that made Belichick famous. Norwood's miss.

29: Steve Young gets the monkey off his back.

31: Favre, Holmgren and White Make Green Bay Great Again.

32: "This one's for John!"

34: Kurt Warner goes from grocery store clerk to both regular season and Super Bowl MVP.

36: The birth of the Evil Empire.

38: Obe of the most tightly contensed.

42: Biggest upset since 3.

43: One of the best fourth quarters.

47: The blackout. SF's near comeback. The goal line stand.

49: "INTERCEPTED AT THE GOAL LINE BY MALCOLM BUTLER! UNREAL!"

51: 28-3

Super Bowl LII is up there for me.

Philly's 1st Superbowl win, the legend of Nick Foles, Tom Brady being bested by a backup, the Eagles being under dogs throughout the playoffs, how the Eagles just never felt like they were at risk of losing the game, Tom Brady playing like a man possessed yet still losing,

Just felt special to me.

Plenty of other ones, too, but LII sticks out to me for a few reasons
