If they put it in the stadium, I'd definitely go. I'm not sure why teams never have them in the hometown stadium. There must be a reason tho.

AR2 said it would be outside the stadium which is different for what they proposed

Interesting, maybe it's a money thing. There is prolly more interest than the stadium can hold.

Some notes from listening to Alan Saunders about day 1 of OTAs:

- Corey Trice is a 100% go already

- Cole Holcomb *should* be ready for week 1. He looks "close"

- JPJ has put on noticeable size in the offseason

has JPJ lost speed though?

cole should wait, no need to rush him back, he can be ILB4 but when 100% , then proceed with more snaps . ILB appears to be a strength if cole returns near where he was .  I never saw the injury, but they said it was bad. Why rush to get him back?

I would too but reporting has been kinda all over the place.

Yep. I remember a report from a week or so ago saying the injury was worse than believed and his projected return was going to be later than expected. So who knows.

Trice is a specimen that garners some excited. His college, and now Pro, injury history makes it hard to hope for much.

Hopefully JPJ doesn't lose any explosiveness or flexibility.

what would a contract for Michael Thomas be approx?

if they can't land the WR1 they wanted, then this could be a good option.

maybe there is $ left to sign Howard next.

Thomas and Howard would complete the roster considering the need at both WR and CB.  If they were to play for a new deal and both get near old form, it would really make the offseason .  Thats if, but not impossible .

Peterson better not be brought back either.

The guy is 5 years out from the last time he played even half the season (all seasons since at much worse performance per game at that). I would hope he would be cheap, but I'm guessing his ego is keeping his pricetag high.

thats what I thought, these vets that were elite will wait for the best contract. They might also not get near what they expect,  but thats the nfl.

Michael Thomas is done...

if he is healthy, maybe he isn't done.  Not what he was, but not done either.   With Aiyuk holding out, see how the WR trade rumours get going again
