Starting the season sixth all-time to third following last week’s performance. Currently sitting at 5,929 career yards, he is likely to jump to second behind Adrian Peterson (11,747) on the list. Needing only 890 yards to supplant Robert Smith. Cook clearly isn't worth his remaining contract IMO, but that doesn't mean that Cook and his contract won't be the Vikings best option next year. However, if Cook won't agree to any changes in his contract the team may end up finding a better option. For now, the team has Cook and I hope he closes the year strong.
