He signed a 5 year deal with plenty of outs and very little guaranteed and money only guaranteed if on the roster. That was a way to extend his cap hit for last year out over a longer period and he was aware of that. He is a 32 (33 when the season rolls around) LB and if he gets a 2 year deal, he will take it.
