Onyemata, while not in his prime anymore, has been one of the more underrated DT's over the last few seasons. And obviously he has familiarity with Nielsen. 3 years, $35 million isn't bad. I think I saw him projected around $10 million a year so the Falcons paid a little more, but they also have an easy out after year two. Tons of cap space remaining. This won't kill them.
