Jets trade Moore and 3rd rounder to CLE for Pick 42

Moore’s value at an early 3rd is about right. He has potential but was never going to be a second contract guy for us. The big WR money is going to Wilson. This trade, while not great, makes sense IF we get a vet WR to be the #2.

Moore is just the odd man out after we get OBJ and that second puts us in great position to get a center.

We can now go

13 - OT

42 - Center

43 - traded for Rodgers

Rodgers trade I think is still 43 plus a conditional pick that can be a 1st based on playing time and team performance and Corey Davis

We have to use the remaining cap space on the interior DL and Kwon though. Maybe use the day 3 picks on a RB and TE.

Only whole after that is not having a ball hawk safety.

Probably a day 3 or future day 3 pick would be my guess.

Amari Cooper fetched a 5th round pick, and it's a near similar scenario and a superior player.  That's probably the "peak" of his value, and that comes from a team who doesn't want to deal with his pending FA.

It's like GB fans don't know how age and money owed works.

Yes Cooper was better than Moore at the time of his trade. But Cooper was 28 and Moore is 22.

You might not care about that. But teams do.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT COREY DAVIS.  Not Elijah Moore.

Corey Davis has zero value. If he’s released teams would sign him to a smaller contract. He has health issues.

Yes. Not sure why his name keeps coming up. He's either cut, traded and will cost a fraction of what he costs now. Or very unlikely stays and will have to take a massive pay cut.

He has value if traded to something of like a 7th rounder.

WHAT???

Corey Davis has no real trade value. If you get a pick for him you move him. Heck even a trade like Davis and a 5th for a low 3rd or 4th I would do. The best value for Davis is a 5th and that is pushing it.

We might get a future 6or 7 at best for him dog….
