Seen as a day 2 prospect by many, he went early day 3. The start to his professional career looked like a ST standout until he tore his ACL and missed the year. He was projected to make the Cowboys with fellow LSU+Cowboys LB Damone Clark also having significant injury history, long time LB Cowboy LB Leighton Vander Esch having significant injury history, and battling for a starting spot with late round pick Devin Harper from Oklahoma State and recently injured rookie from Texas DeMarvion Overshown. Instead Jabril Cox finds himself a victim of roster cuts fairly surprisingly, at least to me. I hope the Raiders swoop him from waivers, he had great coverage and athleticism as a LB prospect.
