The deal also included a 2nd Round Pick, which isn't great for us. That could inflate the price of other possible acquisitions.

Chicago trades another high pick for a mediocre player that they'll likely not pay and who will want out by next year anyways

Yeah that tracks. Once the Henry deal got axed by Titans ownership it was pretty much over. We don't need anything else.

Only deal I would've done was Chase Young for the 3rd. Zoomed out, there's nothing to lose sleep over. We're pretty solid everywhere and it doesn't look like there's any contenders out of our reach.

Yup i’m totally fine with standing pat, this roster is good enough as is to win 11-13 games.

Seems like there's a decent chance that the reason we didn't get Josh Jacobs at the deadline is that the NFL in their infinite wisdom put an awful Raiders/Lions matchup on Monday Night Football for no reason. If they lose on Sunday and Raiders are able to decide on firing McDaniels/the GM on Monday instead of spending trade deadline day in meetings over that, maybe they're in a position to deal yesterday.
