jonnguy2015 Posted November 13, 2023 Share Posted November 13, 2023 (edited) He's a solid QB, but clearly not in the Mahomes/Burrow/Allen tier, or even in the Lamar/Herbert/Hurts/Tua tier. In my opinion, he's firmly around where the likes of Kirk, Goff, Dak, and Purdy are, and that's perfectly fine as a franchise QB. But he clearly hasn't lived up to the "generational talent" hype yet, and hasn't had the breakout year people including myself expected him to. Maybe he does at some point, but as of this point he's a good, but not great. All I can say is that he got thoroughly outplayed yesterday by a QB with a third of the starting experience in the NFL and taken with the last pick of the draft in what was his biggest test of the season to date.
