Its not even that.

Mac Jones situation has always been worse yet they have similar production.

And even just looking at his stats for the year is very concerning.

Ridley, Kirk, Z.Jones, Engram and Etienne is a great cast.

I know the entire league offenses are down as a whole, but more TOs than TDs ?

How is he a not having a bad year let alone still a good player?

Imagine if you switched CJ and Lawrence weapons.

I genuinely love how this is a thing now. Ear to ear grinning here.

Now switch OC’s.

Nah, you don't want Bobby Slowik. May i interest you in a slightly used Pep Hamilton?

Slowik has Noah Brown running wide open. It’s sickening.

I'm throwing up in excitement. That's sorta the same thing.

He’s gonna have Mike Caldwell in a blender in a couple weeks.

Expectations are starting to mount, hence the vomiting. I'm not going to be able to watch that game...

He's a solid QB, but clearly not in the Mahomes/Burrow/Allen tier, or even in the Lamar/Herbert/Hurts/Tua tier. In my opinion, he's firmly around where the likes of Kirk, Goff, Dak, and Purdy are, and that's perfectly fine as a franchise QB. But he clearly hasn't lived up to the "generational talent" hype yet, and hasn't had the breakout year people including myself expected him to. Maybe he does at some point, but as of this point he's a good, but not great. All I can say is that he got thoroughly outplayed yesterday by a QB with a third of the starting experience in the NFL and taken with the last pick of the draft in what was his biggest test of the season to date.
