My top 2 for us that year were Jefferson (who everyone told me was a slot) and Love. I was good either way.

I definitely remember the "Jefferson is overrated, he's just a slot" talk.  But there were also many who wanted him to be the pick.  I can't remember who I was hoping for, but it wasn't Love or Jefferson.

I'll be happy for this team to sneak into the playoffs, giving the young team a taste of the atmosphere.

The main thing for me is to stay in contention.  Playing a series of meaningful games down the stretch will be a good experience for this team.  Actually making the playoffs would be the gravy.  Getting eliminated prior to the MIN game would be pretty disappointing.

If the team still has a shot at the playoffs heading into week 17, I'll probably be OK with whatever happens from there.

I think this is where I’m at. Being in contention right tik the end says a lot about This team and the progress it will have made in order to be in the hunt. I’m not terribly optimistic about tomorrows game but anything can happen.

NFC North isn't out of the picture. Lions could easily go 2-3 down the stretch

That would be bad.

We need road postseason experience more than home postseason experience.

Next year is the year we win the Super Bowl. Experience is what we win this year.

Week 14 has the potential to be another all-around good week for the Packers assuming we take care of business against the Giants.

Games Favored To Go Our Way:

TB v. ATL - cheer for ATL; this one is probably a bit closer to 50-50 but ATL should win at home.

Rams at Ravens - should be a pretty easy Ravens W

Seattle at SF - should be a SF W

Eagles at Dallas - cheer for Eagles (Cowboys struggle against any team .500 or better).

Games that are 50-50

Lions at Bears - yes, this is a 50-50 game. Bears are playing better and Lions are overrated.

Vikings at Vegas - Raiders can win this game with Vikings' current QB troubles even though JJ will be back. Toss up.

Games Favored to Go Against Us:

Carolina @ Saints - no big deal here.

Watch the Giants derail our season again.

The Giants are professionals at derailing our seasons.

This has been the "trap" game on my mind even before we beat the Chiefs...now it's definitely the trap game. Rested team coming off a bye and the Packers coming off a high from beating the defending champs.

What gives me the most optimism is that the Giants have truly been a very bad team this year. Even their 4-8 record is a complete lie when you see that they've beaten the 3-10 Cardinals, 2-10 Patriots and 4-8 Commanders (twice).
