Don't expect a lot of laundry on the field when the Vikings (6-6) visit the Raiders (5-7) on Sunday. That's because the Raiders at 4.67 and the Vikings at 4.83 have committed the fewest penalties per game in the NFL.

It's weird that the Raiders are the least penalized team in the league. In their glory days under John Madden, they never seemed to care about penalties.

Will the Allegiant Stadium be U.S. Bank Stadium v2.0 come Sunday when the Vikings take on the Raiders?

That's the prediction from ticket exchange and resale company Vivid Seats, whose "Fan Forecast" currently pegs Vikings fans as taking up 54% of the 65,000-capacity stadium.

It shouldn't be a surprise if there is a considerable sea of purple at Sunday's game considering visiting fans have regularly outnumbered home fans at the Allegiant. The Raiders haven't had much time to build up local support since the 2020 move from Oakland, while a trip to Las Vegas is always in high demand for traveling NFL fans.

Vikings fans historically travel well anyway, and Sunday marks the first time that the Vikings have played in Vegas since the Raiders moved from Oakland.

Hoping Dobbs can be allowed to be himself and not forced to do things he clearly doesn’t excel in.

Not sure what to expect in this game. Raiders are better and we aren’t playing at a level to assume we would beat any team.

Still picking the Vikings. 29-21

Rookie Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell has performed admirably since Antonio Pierce elevated him to the starting role over Jimmy Garoppolo, but there’s enough to suggest he could have a miserable time going up against Brian Flores’s defense.

O’Connell hasn’t been great under pressure this season, ranking 11th among qualifying quarterbacks with a 57.7 passer rating. While O’Connell’s 84.3 passer rating when clean is 37th among 39 qualifying quarterbacks, he’s also had difficulty against the blitz, as his 73.6 passer rating ranks 10th.

This plays into the hands of the Vikings' defense. Danielle Hunter continues to rank fourth in the NFL with 13.5 sacks this season, and he could be going up against an offensive line that could be without left tackle Kolton Miller.

Minnesota also hasn’t stopped blitzing, as Flores’s defense still has the highest blitz rate in the league at 47.6 percent.

Put it together, and the Vikings' pass rush could have a field day on Sunday afternoon.

Predictions on how many sacks the Vikings defense gets?  How many Hunter gets?

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Wes Phillips was arrested and charged with driving while impaired Friday night, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Saturday.

At approximately 10 p.m. CT, Phillips blew 0.08 after being pulled over by the Minnesota State Patrol, according to Pelissero. He was released from jail a few hours later. The DWI charge is a misdemeanor.

"Wes immediately notified the team following his arrest last night," the Vikings said in a statement obtained by Pelissero. "This morning we contacted the NFL, and after internal discussion, made the decision Wes will travel with the team to Las Vegas this afternoon. We will continue to gather information regarding the incident and have further comment at the appropriate time."

The team and the NFL will determine any potential disciplinary action as the legal process plays out, per Pelissero.

Josh Jacobs is a staple of the Raiders offense. The 25-year-old, three-down back leads the NFL in carries (220) and has rushed for 100-plus yards in two of his last three games despite not eclipsing the century mark once through the first nine weeks of the season.

Since Week 9 when Pierce took over, Jacobs has averaged 90.8 yards per game and 4.2 yards per carry, making significant leaps from the 51.0 per game and 3.1 per rush he averaged in Weeks 1-8.

The Vikings run defense, however, allows just 3.7 yards per carry (fifth-best mark) and 96 rushing yards per game (seventh fewest). The Vikings haven't allowed more than 66 rushing yards to an individual rusher since Week 2 despite facing star runners like Alvin Kamara, Bijan Robinson and Christian McCaffrey.

I wonder if JJ is gonna be doubled and Dobbs wont trust himself to throw it to JJ, leading to some inaction, and more throws to Addison/TJ.

As long as he can hit Addison/TJ/insert Viking here and keep the chains moving I'm OK with it. I'm optimistic to see how the self-scouting went over the BYE.
