its going to be a 4-2, for 80% of the plays or whatever, just like we were this year.

Thats not semantics. theres literally 3 DL inside the tackles in a 3-4. theres 2 inside the tackles in a 4-3. 2 EDGE guys on both.

Every single time I saw us line up on third or fourth and short running those dumb looks I died a little inside.

If you want to be confusing, be confusing in your secondary. Keep the front 7 simple.

I’m just making sure you all know that I know the difference is purely aesthetic.

There are small legitimate differences that I still lean 4-3 for, but it’s all about aesthetics for me.

I would love that. Except the safety would be a single high matched up with the QB. Otherwise, everybody across from somebody beat your guy mentality.
