Barry was brought in to specialize against the Shanny offense, which he was pretty decent at. Not letting a nebulous offense beat your cloud like counter. The problem was not getting after the ball before it got to the target. I think we will have an all gas no brakes kind of D, and not just saying it for fun. Sometimes you need brakes so we might drive off a cliff a few times. Just have to make sure our linebackers are smart and fast for the counterpunches when our aggressive front doesn't get pressure. Instead, it was another opportunity for rookie James Turner to show the team what he has to offer. Turner is consistently hitting two-thirds of his field goals, though, as he went 4-of-6 on the day to bring his summer total to 12-of-18. He’s finished all three days that he’s kicked 4-of-6. At this point, it’s fair to say that he’s currently the third kicker in his competition. Have to think Turner won't be around much longer unless one of Carlson or Joseph has a rough day soon.
