2024 NFL Draft Day 2 Discussion Thread

That’s why I say sure up your gut at this point. If you missed on the outside get a 1st round guy and wait for him to heal. You got a solid center and Cosmi. Get Zinter and keep all the face pressure off Jayden now so atleast he can see and feel the edge and step up

I'm actually good with any of the following:

Payton Wilson, LB, NC State
Austin Booker, Edge, Kansas
Cooper Beebe, G, Kansas State
Junior Colson, LB, Michigan
Kiran Amegadijie, OT, Yale
Zak Zinter, G, Michigan

My boy Troy Franklin is still on but I’d run Zinter up

NFL teams are so risk-averse with players who've been hurt. Look at a lot of the big name guys who fell into the 2nd, you had Newton, DeJean, Kool-Aid -- all of whom were guys that had injuries during the draft process.

Guys fall so much because of injuries that will likely be fully healed by the time camp starts. I think it's pretty illogical, but it always seems to happen. I think there's a very reasonable chance Zinter is still there at 100.

He could be but at this point missing on OT It’s round 3 I’d take my chances on a true blue chip who was a sure fire 1 and not just that he was the best interior in the class

Corley feels like sort of an odd fit with Aaron Rodgers. I guess they're looking longer-term with the pick, but I don't really remember him utilizing a perimeter RB type like that over the course of his long career. So much more of a downfield thrower.
