The draft process is gonna be fun this year. Get to watch the QBs and now WRs. Offense needs a rebuild outside a couple of players.

I'm liking Telesco's first draft thus far:

  • 1 (13): TE Brock Bowers, Georgia.
  • 2 (44): C Jackson Powers-Johnson, Oregon.
  • 3 (77): T Delmar Glaze, Maryland.
  • 4 (112): CB Decamerion Richardson, Mississippi State.
  • 5 (148): LB Tommy Eichenberg, Ohio State.
  • 6 (208): RB Dylan Laube, New Hampshire.
  • 7 (223): S Trey Taylor, Air Force.

Generational talent in Bowers, JPJ will be a stud and Glaze looks very competent. I expected a lot more out of Laube, and Eichenberg missed a ton of time but seemed to get some decent PT last game.

I finally didn't cringe at first glance of our selections. Could bode well for us next year with some high picks.

Eichenburg I want to see more from. His stock dropped a little so....

As far as Laube, not overly concerned. 6th rounder from a small school. Worth a flyer and maybe he steps on on STs. Anything else, honestly, is a major bonus.

Nothing against either pick.

I want to see what Laube can do. Bench Zeus

Trade Adams for a second and then use our 2 seconds to move back up into the first.

I think whatever we get has to ultimately contribute to whatever trade is necessary to move to wherever we need to move to get whatever quarterback we need to get. That's what matters most at this point.

Remember back when Belichik would routinely trade 2nd rounders for next year's firsts, 3rds for next year's seconds, and so on?

That'd be worth it. If only we could find trade partners.

I wish we could just be like the 49ers and stack 3rd round comp picks left and right.
