NO WORKING TOGETHER
ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS CHALLENGE WILL BE ANSWERED IN THREAD.

Castaways are brought out to the playing field. They see a large football field and a bunch of former NFL players and coaches. There is a mastermind offensive coordinator, a mastermind defensive coordinator, a mastermind offensive coordinator and a bunch of former NFL players who never went into coaching.

*Each player has 100 minutes to split between Offense, Defense and Special Teams coaches. They can also choose to spend their minutes chatting with Hall of Fame or future Hall of Fame players.

*You can consult with as many players as you want.

1. Brett Favre 5 points.
Any roll of a 4 is an automatic touchdown. A 44 becomes a touchdown for the current possession and the next. Any 4. But any rolls under 10 are an interception.
2. Charles Woodson 5 points.
Multiples of 21 are a pick six.
3. Stephen Gostkowski 10 points
Team will not miss a field goal if kicked beyond the 50 yard line.
4. Adrian Peterson 15 points
Every first down has a 50% chance to go for 20 yards. A roll of 28 is an automatic touchdown.
5. Julius Peppers 20 points
Any time an opponent gets to 3rd down, a roll above 60 becomes a sack and a loss of 10 yards. A team needs to roll 1-20 to convert a 4th and 20 regardless of the offense/defense. If the offense in question has only a 10% chance anyway, it reverts to that 10% chance. Rolls of 56 or 90 are a defensive touchdown.
6. Randy Moss 20 points
Any roll below 18 on first or second down is an automatic touchdown. 18, 81 or 84 rolled at any point is an automatic touchdown.
7. DeSean Jackson 20 points
Only big plays. Every first down gets another roll of a 10 sided die. 1-5 is an extra ten yards. 5, 6, 7 8 or 9 is an extra 20 yards. A 10 is a touchdown.

*Each team has 8 total possessions (two per quarter)
*A possession lasts for as long as it continues getting first downs.
*The base roll to get a first down is 10. So 10 and under would be a first down. This number cannot go below 10.
*The team with the higher special teams starts each of their possessions a full first down beyond the touchback spot. I’m going to use old NFL touchback rules and say the 20 yard line. So whichever player has the higher special teams starts each possession at the 30. Every 10 special teams points higher than the opponent’s gives them another ten yards to start each possession (beyond the 30)
*Team with highest special teams wins all coin tosses.
*Offensive points and defensive points from each team offset. So if one player puts 80 points into defense and the other player puts 80 points into offense, that offsets and the player with 80 offense always has a 10% chance to get a first down.
*You have to decide special teams strategies. Go for it on 4th down unless you’re in your own territory? Kick a field goal any time after the 50? If you do not submit a special teas strategy, you automatically go for it. Even if it’s 4th and 20 and you’re up by 7 points and you’re on your own 10 yard line.
*Field goal odds:
Your own 40 yard line and further - 10%
50 yard line - 20%
Opponent’s 40 - 40%
Opponent-s 30 - 80%
Opponent’s 20 and closer - 90%
Every S/T point higher than your opponent adds a percentage to your field goal odds.
Further than your own 40 cannot go above 40% chance.

Higher S/T is 100% on extra points.
Lower S/T is 90% on extra points.

Going for two has a base of 48% (NFL average). This CANNOT go higher, but it is lowered by a higher defense.

*If the game is tied after all 16 possessions, we go to old school sudden death rules. Highest ST wins coin toss for overtime as well.

SUBMISSIONS NEED:

1. You need to use 100 minutes by picking NFL players or putting your minutes into offense, defense or special teams.
2. You need to determine your field goal and punting strategies.
3. Decide your Extra Point Strategy

We will run this game when all submissions are in. Today if everybody gets their moves in. I will play games as matchups are submitted if I have the time.
