Geek Posted September 1 Share Posted September 1 As far as I understand critical but stable means that he's in critical condition but being in a hospital setting renders him stable. Complete speculation but from my experince with gunshot wounds to the chest he has probably pneumathorax. Gun shots to the chest can often collapse the lung in the chest cavity due to air leaking in the chest. It can kill you pretty quickly if you don't get it sealed ASAP.
