Yeah. To be fair he was playing like hideous cheeks before Romo placed him that night. It had been building up for a while. And then Dallas turned their season around. 

As for Romo, and if he just got too big of a head I have no idea. Romo was the bigger triggerman at that time though, and really a better player overall. 

Apparently on the other side Pete Carrol allegedly said in an interview that when he was coach of the Patriots Drew did everything they asked of him, and nothing else. 

In conclusion behind the scenes fluff is anybody's guess.

Caleb didn't help his team win that game in the slightest. He wasn't even 2006 Rex Grossman good.
