How big is the gap between Andy Reid and other HC’s right now?

Belichick in his day was the best at shutting down the opposing offense's best player. It was pretty uncanny. That faded the last few years probably because of personnel.

I never liked Brady or Belichick but it's silly to try to claim either of them having had nothing to do with the other's success.

Sure, Brady could win with other good teams but Belichick could have won with other good rosters. Heck, he beat the Patriots in the playoffs with the Browns.

As someone who watched every down of that season, What was special about beating the 1994 patriots lol

NOPE! Despite everybody agreeing that TB was stacked before Brady got there, and all they needed was a QB to not throw 30 INTs in a single year, all of that vanished as soon as Tom showed up. Mike Evans is a bum, Chris Godwin was a glorified Corey Coleman, and their defense was bad. Tom Brady's motivational text messages to his defensive teammates MADE them be good, because of his LEADERSHIP and AURA

Why was this superteam  underdogs in 3 straight playoff games?

The revisionist history on that Bucs team is hilarious in retrospect. I alluded to it in my last thread. Go back and look at the postgame during the saints MNF disaster lol

Most coaches look amazing when they have a hall of fame level qb under center, and a strong defense.

Xs and Os matter, but so do Jims and Joes.

Edit: for my money, the Steelers HC should have a decent argument for best in the business. They've had a fantastic record with Big Ben, even through his decline, and even been OK with some relative bad qb play since. Also they've managed to deal with a number of terrible personalities on their roster that would have outright killed other teams' locker rooms.
