If the browns covet a q.v. they will need to get him ahead of the giants, I think all their talk of going Nelson or otherwise is a smokescreen. That would honestly be the worst situation we could have if both the Giants and Browns went QB, it would pressure a team like Buffalo(who can outbid just about anyone right now) to move up to 3 to snag their QB. We'd be screwed. No, we would not be screwed. There are 4 QB's who could go top 5, plus two BPA's on OFFENSE we could really use. As long as we like the QB most likely to drop out of the top 5, we are in perfect position to add an impact player on offense with the sixth pick. If we don't like said QB, we can trade down, possibly end up with 2 first rounders instead of one, fill a hole later in Round 1 (edge rusher like Davenport, maybe?) and still take a QB like Jackson. No matter, as long as Macc is thinking like this, we should be in solid shape. If he panics like you suggest, then there is a chance at messing this up.
