Alex Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 OR... There weren't just any good defensive coordinator candidate out there, at least not somebody who's better than Butler. Maybe they are just staying input and give the defense real personnel they can work with and see what happens. Maybe Butler suggested a change to the scheme itself? This would be interesting... Maybe there will be later but there is no way the entire defensive coaching staff should return. If Butler isn't gone then Lake and or Porter should be.
