Depends entirely on how serious he is about chasing the all-time wins record. He's already over 70, and the clock is ticking. If he doesn't have a new HC job by next season, the chase is probably over.
skibrett15
as far as BB, I just don't think his ego will let him do less than totally control a team, and I don't think (and owners agree) that he can be that guy successfully anymore. He could take on a McCarthy type role, but he isn't willing.

Owners, including Arthur Blank, not vibing with that approach. I personally don't think he can be successful with the "patriot way". All of his assistant coaches over the past 5 years have flamed out horribly, possible exception of Brian Flores being a good DC. BB is kinda washed. Maybe he'll get a shot in NYG next year once they dump their guy and their QB.

But that might be the only role he'd be interested in for Atlanta specifically. Why would he have any interest in that organization unless he got absolute control? What have any of them done to convince him they can do it better? Very very very different situation than other places with better FOs in place. Zycho32
Sounds more and more like BB's headed to some kind of Studio Commentary job instead of another NFL gig.

Put his energy right next to Gronk's dog-brained energy on tv. Comic gold. Have you guys seen Gronk on the pregame shows? Guy stands there with zero thoughts in his head until they throw the camera to him.

The Atlanta Falcons aren't some dumpster organization, they were in the super bowl 8 years ago vs BB with the same owner. He's been an abject disaster building the team and the coaching staff outside of the defense for 4+ years now. He's been an abject disaster drafting players for 10+ years now. There's nothing real interesting or promising about that organization. I think it's a very competitive roster. Just need a QB on the offense. Won 7 games with a pathetic QB, one of the 5 worst in the league. Have all their picks. Most help is needed on the D, where BB is especially proficient. Better job than Washington and Carolina, and probably on par with Seattle, Las Vegas, etc. Not quite as good as LAC given the QB situation, but that team is OLD/decaying.
