Yeah, well, in Germany we play naked, and oiled up, in a pool of lube. That's how real men play. Probably why Moritz Bohringer didn't work out in the NFL, too much friction.

Isn’t that just your night clubs though.

Hey more Urinal talk brothers. My dude and I worked out this weekend. And we got to talking Browns. ( obviously ) he said it’s pretty much on lock down. No real rumors. Just kinda quiet. But a few things he has heard multiple times through out the process is

- Dorsey instructed certain members of the staff and front office to leak false information to the media. What that information is idk But I know he’s playing games for sure.

- The consensus among most of the staff and front office has been (front office) Baker vs (coaches) Darnold at 1 and Chubb vs trade down at 4.

- Also the Bills and Browns have talked continuously throughout the process if their guy falls to 4. Hearing a players is involved from the Bills to move up. 3 1st, 1 2nd and a player

- Also surprise, surprise the patriots want Chubb Badly I’m told and have been talking about a monster trade up to 4 to get their guy. Urinal talk exclusive it includes 3 1st, 1 2nd, and a player. ( Bills and patriots are vying for 4 )

- They are working hard to get Dukes deal done before draft. This tells me they aren’t interested in Barkely. I’ve heard many times Dorsey’s going to draft a guy later.

- Two RBs names my buddy’s heard multiple times. Mark Walton from Miami and Kalen Ballage from Arizona st

take it for what it’s worth

YESSSS. Thats my guy.

Anyways, what role is your friend? Does he work for the team or something? To your points, I love the leaking of false info--and I think that is all Josh Allen. I love that its down to Mayfield/Darnold I would be happy with either TBH. I also love the fact that they are trying to get a backup plan in place with the Bills just in case Chubb is not there at #4.

Seems like its all moving in the right direction. The only think I dont get is the Pats moving from 31 all the way to #2 for a player who is not a QB and not even a once in a generation type prospect.

I know we've been there and done that with the Mayfield debate so I don't really want to retread old tires, but it really bothers me that we are considering taking him. Before I get called out for it, I'm not comparing him on-field to Manziel. They are different. I still don't like Mayfield's on field projection to the NFL but I know he doesn't play like Manziel. I have other reasons.

But more so it's just straight up that we are considering drafting a 6ft guy with a Marmite attitude that has been arrested for running away from the police and has had a number of other incidents that have even included the need for an apology and suspension. It's that more than anything that I can't get my head around. We have been stung worse than any team in the past. Honestly, even if I liked him as a QB prospect, I wouldn't want to go there. It just feels like it's screaming me in the face. Don't do it.

Anyway, yeah I know some in here love him to bits and others can't stand him so it is what it is. Another 11 days of back and forth until we find out.

He works in Equipment and field maintenance. He’s there pretty much everyday getting ready for camps and getting the equipment ready for the new guys.

Also I believe the pats have 2 1st now. The 23 and 31st plus San Fran’s 2nd and there own

Getting three 1st, a 2nd and a player from the Bills for 4 is a no-brainer.

One of those firsts will be in 2019 and will be an awesome pick. I know there is some trade down fatigue but this is an exceptional circumstance. We will get our QB at 1 anyway and at 4 we have QB leverage to get value that you couldn't achieve in any other way.

I'm taking the deal for the picks alone but I wonder what play they even have that would be of value to us? Jerry Hughes or Shaq Lawson everyone else on that roster that they would actually trade is garbage IMO. LeSean McCoy and Dion Dawkins are also nice player but no way in hell they trade them.

Indeed, it's an awful roster. Bottom 10 in talent, for sure. And then weighed down even more by whichever QB they will trot out.

The thing I dislike about the Darnold VS Mayfield debate is this popular false belief imo that " if Baker was as tall as Sam Darnold, he'd clearly be the best QB in the draft and maybe the best prospect ever..." as i f Darnold's play on the field with elite anticipation, instincts, big game/moment poise doesn't make him the clear better prospect relative to Baker.

A lot of QBs are far better than Sam along various QB play ability dimesnions; however, Darnold will enter the league as a top 8 anticipation thrower (1. Philip Rivers, 2. Aaron Rodgers , 3. Drew Brees, 4. Ben Roethlisberger, 5. Russell Wilson, 6. Matt Ryan, 7. Sam Darnold).

Darnold is also more pinpoint accurate when passing on a non-zone read play when it counts in big moments or 4th quarter drives relative to Baker.

Interesting stat I head Daniel Jeremiah cite was that against OSU, Baker was touched/hi 6 times... For, Sam Darnold he was hit 27 times. The chaos that Darnold played under due to offensive line and WR play simulated the duress of an NFL environment...and time and time again Darnold made wonderfully creative and special plays often in critical moments.

This debate is not even close... and I still find it hard to believe that there are people that watch their games closely and think Baker should be the guy.....

It's wild to me...

I could not agree more, Mind.

Baker could be 6'4, he would have still made the vast majority of his throws under no pressure. I'm also not particularly interested in what PFF or whatever wants to say about the pressure he faced. Watching games and tape, I know what my eyes are seeing. He could take a nap or make a phone call in there before he throws the ball.

No doubt I'm lower on him than even most non-Baker fans, though. I just think he is in for a rude awakening in the NFL when he encounters real pressure and real pockets. Georgia second half.

Absolutely... you hit in on the head with the pressure. Baker's a really good prospect in his own right imo, but PFF is so misunderstood right now it's crazy.... traditional scouting analysis says it all.

Baker Mayfield is what I call football lifer porn.. he's the final test, the final boss, the final level of the game before the prize and victory. If we pass it, we've won this miserable game. All things suggest Dorsey and McCloughan have fallen prey to the footballporn trap.. Baker is unbelievably rare in his emotional intelligence...he is one of the best on-field "leaders of men" if you are a football traditionalist his competitiveness along with those other traits easily makes one head over heels for the guy (a la McCloughan, Dorsey, etc...). The numbers are there, the arm is there... he's the best QB in PFF analytic history...DePodesta's pants are tingling... Dorsey's pants are tingling...

It takes discipline to take a cold shower...then come back and watch the film on Darnold and watch a 20-year old magician, a next level poise, instinct, change of direction athlete, a blitz avoidance while going through progressions savant, and top-7 anticipation thrower in the NFL.

It's Darnold over Rosen then Baker...and the grade I have for Darnold is the highest since Andrew Luck.... @Aztec Hammer we're not really going to pass on this guy are we? I still can't believe it... but unless the coaches or a wild card like Dee Haslam can save us... it's happening
