Round 1

19.  Dallas – Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama - Understand the pick, but not my ideal pick either.

Round 2

50.  Dallas- Andrew Brown, DT, Virginia - Like Brown quite a bit. Seems early for him,  but think his size and versatility fit nicely. That said, think Braden would be pick here. Almost positive Dallas goes high with interior OL and until they show otherwise, they simply don't value DT this high.

Round 3

81.   Dallas- Deshon Elliot, S, Texas - Like it.

Round 4

116.  Dallas- Maea Teuhema, OG, Southeastern Louisiana -  rd 4 screams DT for Dallas. Senat here makes sense here. RM will love his power and motor.

138. Dallas (comp) – Dalton Schultz, TE, Stanford  - Real solid pick.

 Round 5

172.            Dallas (comp)-Darius Phillips, CB, Western Michigan -  Like it

174.            Dallas (comp) - Antonio Callaway, WR, N/A - Even though Dallas takes risks, this is one I don't see happening. Callaway is a knothead. Don't think he even gets drafted.

Round 6

193.            Dallas – Christian Sam, LB, Arizona State - Excellent pick

209.            Dallas (comp)  – Will Richardson, OT, North Carolina State - Solid.

Round 7

235.            Dallas – Jack Cichy, LB, Wisconsin - Homerun pick. I suspect someone pulls the trigger well before this point on Cichy.

Some minor issues. Still a solid draft that I can't knock too much. Well done.

This looks like an amazing draft for the niners (even better if we somehow managed to fix the pass rush and corner situation in free agency, even if it's just a temporary fix). Giving Jimmy G an elite G, a RB like Johnson (who I personally really like), and big bodied WR like Ateman, that's seriously a win. Maybe switch someone for a CB at some point. After hitting on Akhello Witherspoon last year, I wouldn't be surprised if we tried again, even if we sign one or two veterans in free agency.

When I saw Brown's quick step at the Senior Bowl I thought right away that a team will fall in love with him enough to take him in the top 50.  But fair enough, I believe you when you say Dallas will probably prioritize interior OL at this point.

Same. And i think Marinelli would like to have him. From what i saw he used Irvin, Crawford and even Charlton inside so a disruptive guy like Brown would be used there. Mo Hurst is one of the consensus pick for them, A.Brown later would make sense.
