He’s done that despite playing through a major injury the second half of last year This kid has a .450+ wOBA each month of that stretch except for July and August when he was clearly playing hurt and could barely get the bat around What other player comes up, is immediately the best player in the sport his first full year plus, and people say “that’s over his head he will regress” ??? This is Trout / Lebron level stuff and people just dismiss it because he wasn’t a top-5 prospect If he’s a .260 hitter why doesn’t he hit .260? Why does he hit .300+ News flash, he has better tools than pretty much any top-5 prospect and he’s proving himself in the big leagues.
