Boycott paying networks - Stand up, or get bent over.
Xmad replied to Mid Iowa's topic in NFL General
Still blows my mind brand deals account for like 15% of revenue and the rest comes from TV networks. -

The Patriots have hired Jerod Mayo as their next head coach

What kinda revisionist history is this. -
Live look at Treylon Burkes training camp stats:

Not sure it's the right move tbh. His QB for the past two years was a decrepit ryan tannehill or various rookies provided by the front office lol. Plus the front office gutted the roster awhile ago. But Tannehill's gone after this year and so is Henry, new GM as well since the guy that hired Vrabel is gone. Makes sense to move in a new direction and build the franchise, we'll see with Ray's moves whether this works out.

He can but why would he? #1 overall landing spots could go a billion different ways and despite how i feel about the bears coaching staff it's way better than 2023's result. Plus the bar for QB play in Chicago is better than RG3 the 1st or Jay Cutlast.

Chargers C Corey Linsley likely retiring due to heart issue
Xmad replied to RaidersAreOne's topic in NFL News
Chargers heart attacks that they gave to fans became real for the players. Hope he lives a long and healthy post football life. -

He's 57, if he coaches until he's like 70 that's a decade of HC material. Plus like $10 million/year guaranteed from a coordinator's like 3-5 million salary? If someone offers he gone. Looking at you incompetent franchises.

Never too early to play more Baldurs gate tres.

New regimes means new QB rip.

The next coming of packers fans complaining about everything except QB play.

What's wrong with Fields? he's the best QB the bears have had since the Trubes.

I'm fine with that tbh, Clowney has legit been good this year. 2-3 year deal or another 1 year deal with a **** ton of incentives.
-
Queen's an expensive piece we can replace, Stone sucks but we can find talented safeties, Clowney is a mercenary who will probably try and get a 2-3 year high value deal. I'm gonna cry when they all sign in the AFC north. Fr though losing all 3 hurts a very good defense but they're all somewhat replaceable.

Better QB Right Now: Lamar Jackson or Joe Burrow

We all know the real answer is Joe Flacco. -
If your team needed a HC AND GM, would you want Bill Belichick?
Xmad replied to General Tso's topic in NFL General
No one's perfect see Bill bellicheck's coaching tree. Are you really telling me there was someone else in that tree that could've called offenses better? You can shake it all you want the most you'll get is a minor winning record and Billy Bob. -

Almost like it's hard to win in the NFL without a competent QB or offense or something. Time tells all tales and the one that matters most is there is no Tom Brady without Bill and no Bill 8 rings without Brady. One won two rings without the other, one won one ring without the other. Also **** it just for bonus points Chuck Noll without Bradshaw: 61-80. Another scrub head coach made into a Hall of Famer by an all-time great QB, right? -

I mean they are super bowl rings so yes? Josh McDaniels is a good offensive coordinator and terrible HC. The sample size is his tenure from cleveland in the 90's, and 2 winning seasons with different QBs, context matters. Also Brady may have 7 SB rings but you know who has 8 rings? Do you not give credit to the designer of the building when you build one, construction doesn't happen without the designs and plays don't happen without the coaching. Blah blah blah Bill has more rings without brady then brady without bill blah blah. -

He already one without Brady but you're not young enough to remember that. -

Meh top 10 starting QB, decent foundation on offense and a pair of solid pass rushers there's a core to work with. Peyton to Luck until luck retired. Homie, the record without Brady means nothing. Without bellicheck there is no brady lol, he's just some other scrub who gets buried on a depth chart and washes out of the league. Bellicheck built the defenses that won championships, Brady wasn't even a *real* good till 07. Solid QB who was clutch but then Brady came into his own. Legitimate comparisons to Purdy rn except Purdy is playing better than Brady did in his earlier seasons minus the SB wins but we're only two seasons in. Bellicheck is a top 2 HC all time, without Brady he'd probably win 1-3 rings, and vice versa. -
Feel like both are having fantastic seasons, Aubrey with only three years of kicking experience even in a dome is impressive. For Dallas dans, he has missed kicks in the post-season before so get ready. (USFL ya nerd) Butker's just rebounding to his average, which is like top 4 Kicker but like he's done this before.
