Yep.  Somebody lost their job because people wanted to see something that wasn't there.  Can't really blame Moore because it's easy to get caught up in that sort of thing, but they pitched a fit over lies and it lost somebody a job.

No, I'm fairly confirmable thinking less of Moore for his involvement

Some reading in the issue for those unfamiliar. As a summary, the team and coach stood behind the black players decision and actually immediately after, state legislaters did as well.

This is basically the position he'll be playing. Box "Safety", TE RB cover guy. He shouldn't be taking on G's every play.

He lined up at the wrong spot at the combine. His pro day is much closer to his field speed.

One of my guys so I'll fight you guys over this one. LOL the only concern for me is if he can get in Rodgers good graces if he didn't even line up to run a straight line right.

My one concern is if he lines up at the wrong spot at the LOS.  Off-sides = bad; catching passes = good

It wasnt just football players and I've read nothing indicating it was based on lies.

The person who tweeted about all of it later rescinded his tweet.  He also apologized for having said it.  Further incidents were reported to have been false.  Somebody reported that something had been smeared on the walls in the bathroom, and yet there was no photographic evidence, and all of the evidence was based on a flyer that somebody had found.  So they said there was something smeared, but their evidence for the smear was a flyer about the smear.

Some people want to see what isn't there, and I can't fault anybody for buying into it at the time, but people need to exercise caution and patience in these types of things.

You have a link to these facts, cause I'm not seeing anything about a protest / resignation later being found to be based on false data.

I didn't follow nthe story at all, just googled it now - so no agenda, just trying to see what actually happened!

I have to believe if there was an arrest made there was reason to believe it, but I've read that there was no photographic evidence, and no witness claimed to have actually cleaned the mess up.  I've also read that the KKK thing was Russian bots, which is the explanation for it on Wikipedia.

I think the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.  It's been confirmed for me that at least one person made racial threats on Twitter, but as far as the rest of it, there's reason to doubt the validity of it.
