resilient part 2
I am starting to think, there is a decent chance LAL ends up with no one. PG-OKC, Lebron -Cavs, Kawhi not traded to LA.

YoungJefe
Magic's comments today make it seem like the Lakers plan is to pursue Paul George this summer and save the other max slot for someone next summer.

Just not ideal. They have like 10 bigs there so they’d need someone to score from the wing.

Danger
How much is the cap hit for Paul George signing a deal with the Lakers or another team?

You'd take KAT over healthy Cousins but not Embiid? Embiid is better than both and KAT is currently quite easily the worst.

Assuming he opts out as expected, it starts around $30.5M for both teams. The only difference is the Thunder can offer 8% raises and a five year contract where as the Lakers can offer 5% raises and a four year contract. At least in the context of who is (was in the case of Cousins prior to injury) the better player, not who you would rather have going forward.
