He was playing captain checkdown all day and it was often times not cutting it. Look at all the YAC from those 3 pass catchers alone. The Running game was relatively consistent but not explosive at all today. The offensive line gave up 4 sacks. Maybe that's why Mendoza insisted on checking down as much as he did. He does continue to like his TEs especially in the endzone. But the real MVP is Nick Wright who transferred from Clemson in the off season a few seasons ago. All hail sir Wright. It's more that they played poorly than anything else. Mendoza is still frustrating me because he's playing captain checkdown, and he still managed to throw a couple of INTs this game anyways. This is just a test didn't REALLY care about the game here as it won't be the actual play, but here's the test run. Now you get to see Mendoza for real. Still some kinks to work out. I'm gonna continue trying to play with the microphone audio to try and get the best quality. I only moved the microphone into a good spot halfway through.
