This offense is amazing with him in there, sucks we couldn't utilize him to his full potential, but let's go ahead and trade him for a 3rd-4th and let him go. We should've taken the reported offer(s) we got at the trade deadline. He's only got one year left on his contract. And his speed could fade at any point, given his age. indifference Posted December 27, 2018 Share Posted December 27, 2018 Vea ability to shed and make the play is impressive. For a man that size his athletic ability is on display frequently. He makes GMC expandable but we will need to find a suitable DT next to Vea. GMC being doubled allows this 1 on 1 opportunity. Maybe approach him about taking a pay cut. If we can talk him into maybe 8 million instead of 13 I say keep him. Doubt he takes that especially since we suck. But, this draft class is loaded.
