As for the loml, Derek, I used my best your mum joke on her not knowing about the recent suicide in her family. Yes I am a *****. But no one stops me from doing your mum/mom, and at times your dad. In high school three girls from our class died in a car crash. In class I said, much louder than I meant to, "women drivers huh". That went down well.
