You're worried about ET's age? Weddle is four years older and not near the athlete ET is. If you want one safety then get ET. If you want two starters then look for Tre Boston and Anthony Harris. Chili Posted March 8, 2019 Share Posted March 8, 2019 The Packers historically likes to collect compensatory picks however we would lose them if we sign a free agent UNLESS we sign someone who was cut. Peppers is a classic example - he was cut and did not count towards the compensatory formula when we signed him. I suspect after having no comp picks this year that Gute may want to get collect some comp picks for next year. Matthews, Cobb and Breeland could land sizable contracts that could nets us a couple of nice comp picks. So when looking at free agency what we should be looking at are players who were cut so I think this is worth keeping a close eye on. NFL Cuts List. Proven interception machine. 2. Only 28 years old 5. Lots of NFL experience 4. In a saturated safety market he could be had for an affordable deal 5. Fills major hole at safety. 6.
